Contributing to Syncloud

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Syncloud! We welcome contributions from the community to help make this project even better. Before you start, please take a moment to review the following guidelines.

Getting Started

  1. Fork the repository on GitHub.
  2. Clone your forked repository locally: git clone https://github.com/ikyawthetpaing/syncloud.git
  3. Create a new branch for your changes: git checkout -b feature/your-feature-name
  4. Make your changes and commit them with a descriptive commit message.
  5. Push your changes to your fork on GitHub: git push origin feature/your-feature-name
  6. Open a Pull Request (PR) to the main branch of the original repository.

Code Style

Please follow the existing code style in the project. If you are introducing a new feature or modifying existing code, make sure your changes adhere to the established coding conventions.

Testing

Ensure that your changes do not break existing functionality. If applicable, provide tests for new features or bug fixes.

Documentation

Update the documentation to reflect any changes made. This includes the README.md and any relevant API documentation.

Commit Messages

Write clear and meaningful commit messages. Follow the conventional commits style if possible (https://www.conventionalcommits.org).
