Improve Landing Page Styling

• docs.geoconnex.us is now the landing page for most geoconnex related work
  • I think it is very important to have a strong first impression
• the current landing page is fine, but could be made more visually appealing and display more info about the overview of the project
• might make sense to create a more dynamic landing page (i.e. using better graphics, some callouts/inline images)
  • Something analogous to a mashup of the following pages but abbreviated and geoconnex specific might be quite nice
    • https://cgsearth.org/
    • https://www.docker.com/
      - callouts for the amount of users / datasets
      - formatting partner organizations as a rotating marquee, not a static image
