Ionic 2 Support

Hello,

I realise that this project is not core to Ionic and the wish is for it to become a community one, I was wondering if anyone is going to port it over to Ionic/Angular 2?

That would be amazing. I was going to open a bounty, but I don't think the Ionic 2 version will be done in this project.
