I understand that there is a gap between Windows and Linux. What kind of gap is there for basic observability functionality such as uprobes and eventually bpftrace?
Cheers,
Joe Gorse
P.S. I have inherited a Windows 7 embedded system to test and I am looking for ways to instrument and inject values like eBPF allows on Linux (and as I had used SystemTap for previously). So I am biased toward that, though genuinely curious for any thoughts on the matter.

With the introduction of eBPF for Windows
https://github.com/microsoft/ebpf-for-windows
which uses the IOVisor uBPF
https://github.com/iovisor/ubpf
what is the plan for BCC Windows support?
