Update desired collection in a database with a single method

To update desired collection, I want to execute the following method:

Future<bool> updateRecords(
      Isar isar, String collectionName, List<Object> objects) async {

//I don't like below approch because whenever the database collections are changed, this method should be updated as well.

if(collectionName==isar.collection1.schema.name)
{
isar.write((isar) => isar.collection1.putAll(objects));
}
else if(collectionName==isar.collection2.schema.name)
{
isar.write((isar) => isar.collection2.putAll(objects));
}
else if ......

}

Are there any alternatives to if else statements?
