Release 1.0 #8

Description

@itsfarseen

We’re approaching a stable point in the lifecycle of age-store, and it feels like the right time to start planning for a 1.0 release.

  • Feature-wise, the project is in a solid state. Most of the core functionality we set out to build is already in place.
  • We now have a reasonably comprehensive test suite, which gives us confidence in the stability of the codebase.
  • From here, the main focus should be on real-world usage and feedback. Once there’s sufficient adoption and validation from users in production-like settings, we can move forward with a 1.0 release.
  • I don’t anticipate adding many new features unless they provide significant value. Instead, the focus will shift toward maintenance, keeping up with changes in the age CLI, and bug fixes.
  • Documentation, examples, and overall developer experience will also be important areas to polish before calling it 1.0.

The goal for this milestone is to make age-store reliable, well-documented, and production-ready. Feedback and contributions will play a key role in getting us there.
