Music skipping/buffering now?

When i first installed the fork the playback was silky smooth. Recently the stream seems to go silent for a split second and continue playing like it's buffering. I have 1gb fiber so I don't think my own internet is the issue. Is this a known issue? Anything I can do? I installed this via docker compose

yes i had the similar problem too, the playback sometimes is quiet laggy, i had the bot running on my local pc, and the internet should not be a problem, but everytime i use the bot ping command the ping reply back like 300~400ms, the websocket ping around 250ms, not sure what happen with the ping.

I did mean to respond on the fork of jmusicbot..BUT...I resolved the skipping for a good 99% of the time the bot is playing. Some of my friends werent skipping at all but a couple of us were. I discovered that my channel was set to automatically choose my region. Once i chose US/East and restarted my docker file it has been great. We've had about 3 different nights where we all queued up music for several hours it skipped once or twice. Before i was skipping every 5 seconds. I would give this a shot. Discord no longer lets you force change regions at the app level but you can at the channel level.

Sorry if my english is poor, i try your solution today and try to make the bot run for the whole day, i can see that the laggy or bufferring issue still exist, but less frequent (prob like few times every two hours), thank you for the solution, the bot ping command still replying back the similar latency or ping as what i said in the comment yesterday, prob because my physical location or something else, i am not sure is the ping causing the laggy playback issue or not, however thank you so much for the solution, it still help me out a little.
