There's a feature in github to automatically push the github repo contents to http://packagist.org , if you would, could you configure your github to automatically upload selectToAutocomplete to packagist.org ? So from then on, anyone can do the command one time, composer require JamieAppleseed/selectToAutocomplete and composer instantly downloads it from packagist.org into a local folder, it's added into your PHP application, and kept up to date with a periodic composer update.
