How to return from Book Edit

Perhaps I'm not using the correct workflow to do this:

From Books side tab, select a book, edit (update metadata etc) and save. All goes well and the book updates but there is no way to return back the the master book list (back tab on the app doesn't work after an edit) so I have to browser back which has to take me back through all the previous versions.

Appreciate all the work on this app, take a break and regroup but hopefully don't give it up.
