I've got a set of four Minisforum MS-01's in a customized build printed entirely in PLA. The metal cases get a little warm, but not heat bed warm, so I'm worried about that. The one concern I have is the CPU fan exhaust, but so far it doesn't seem to be an issue. Granted these machines aren't under load that often.
We'll see how it holds up, but right now I have no concerns with PLA for these machines.
I've been using PLA and PETG with excellent results. Also, given the addition of the 120mm fan trays for additional cooling power, you may not need to worry about thermal thresholds as much anymore.
Hi there,
willing to print but concerned about temperatures.
Some of my device get quite hot and I don't think PLA will hold it.
Anyone printing this in ASA?
Any major hints to consider?
