Is there a reason for this? I downloaded and enabled the Chrome plugin you recommended and performed every other step. Thanks.

I've not played with this is a few months - let me check to see that the API is working as intended. The purpose of this is so people who don't trust 3rd party web services can get an export for themselves.

Actually, sorry to waste your time but I've already figured out another way with Depressurizer, in case you'd rather not investigate this. I'm currently writing a guide for this for the Steam Guides feature. I'll post a link to it here anyway, even if it's a little more time-consuming than steamcsv. (No use of shady websites, though!)

That's an interesting solution - working with steam config files directly vs. the API. What I really want is something that will help me figure out if I own a game between GOG, Humble, Steam etc... might iterate this again soon...

This was written with non-savvy end users in mind, hence the layman's terms. I'll certainly check back here though since your tool looks very useful.
