Serious lag/slowdown once story files get larger #1

Aware this was raised already on a previous thread on the old repository but just wanted to get it re-raised and hopefully addressed as this is impacting us. We can get round by editing scenarios in separate files but it's certainly not ideal and otherwise the plugin is great and makes things a lot easier for debugging, story writing etc...
