TODO’s

  • [ ] Organize the README file.
  • [ ] Export org-roam notes in pdf for one specific location.
  • [ ] Gnuplot update without re-open the plot.

Welcome!

I’m on the path to make Emacs an general porpuse use. The configurations are based in the tasks that i usually do in Emacs, that is, write code, note taking (in org-roam) and write in LaTeX. The note taking is done using the org-roam-mode.

Installation

First of all, if you already have an configuration you may want to have a backup for it, so run mv ~/.emacs.d ~/.emacs-bak, and then:

git clone https://github.com/jefter66/dotmacs.git .emacs.d

You can find all the packages that i use in this file, i’ll try to keep it always updated.

Personal configs

Some of the configurations depends on the way i organize my system, therefore, if you are interested in using it, you may need to change somethings for it to work. First, a couple of private configurations is loaded in the General config section, comment or remove the line. Also, change the org-roam-directory and the org-roam-templates, they require some files that i did not made public (yet).

Evil mode

If you are an Emacs user, beware that i’m a evil-mode user, and this config, like the others, can be easily changed (or removed) in the config file.

About and references

These are some of the main repositories from where i sometimes found usefull code snippets, some of the snippets i reference in the block of code when using it.
