Mouse functionality when no display signal

Hey. Recently you've updated that when in fullscreen the message "no display image" shows instead of just a black screen. Since this update i have no way of controlling the mouse anymore when no display signal is present. This was really helpful for when setting up laptops which did not yet have installed drivers for the built in peripherals and hdmi.

Could you maybe add back a way to control the mouse when no display signal is detected? That would help me a lot, because now i have to connect a external mouse to the laptops i am prepearing.
