JetKVM ATX board installation questions?

Hi,

I have the JetKVM ATX board. I want to use the front panel power buttons on my PC.

If I look at the board there are two pairs of pins e.g. BTN PWR+ has two pins etc and all the way down for the other 7 pairs.

Why is there a pair for each? Does one pin connect to the motherboard and the other pin optionally to the front panel buttons or LED?

Is there a good video or images showing how to connect this.

Instead of disconnecting the front panel button and leds to motherboard connector can I instead connect a wire into the back of the
motherboard connector in the corresponding pins?
