When I tried to refresh my apps everything seemed to work fine but then I got a message saying my account was locked and I had to change my password. Is this in any way fixable?

Your account was locked due to the fact that the password had been attempted multiple times, but failed. Apple noticed this and locked your account, so this is not a netmuxd problem.
