[bug] Library updates not reflected at all (v0.9.8) #872

I don't know if this is fixed in v0.9.9 so sorry if it is (just installed it now).

But the bug is that I added a new Library on the server end, moved a bunch of audio files and folders (not copied) from one Library to the new one.

Finamp (v0.9.8) did not see the new library (maybe I forgot to select it? unsure) and the existing Libraries saw audio content that was removed (moved into the other library). So this isn't just about the new Library, it's about the old content being "visible" on the "old and existing libraries".

The library change was a few days ago, and the libraries have been scanned multiple times since then, so this looks to be localised to Finamp.

This was "solved" by logging out, clearing cache, and then logging back into the server. Saw new library and that old stuff was moved around.

I tried hard to look through settings that could help, but didn't quite find anything that did help. And the re-logging was before I upgraded v0.9.8->v0.9.9 (via apk direct install, not Google Play btw).

So firstly, yes, if you add a new library it will only show up in the menu/drawer after going to settings and enabling it there :)

As for the old content being visible, that was probably due to it being downloaded in some way. Finamp always fetches data from the server, but also always uses downloaded assets, if available. Was all of the removed content still available, or just some of it? Did you download anything? Do you have any favorites?

There were many "old" albums visible that I did not have downloaded versions of. I'm pretty sure all the "old" content was still there. There was some I'm sure I downloaded onto the device, yes, but only a few things. And none of the "old" content was favourited from what I remember.

Like we're talking over 20 albums moved here.

Did you attempt to play the old items? Did that work?

No because I know they would not have worked, because the media was "physically" somewhere else. I'm well beyond the point of being able to reproduce the issue as I've logged out/back-in to the server already.
