Structure of the converters.json file

The converters.json configuration file is where Ferocious stores the configuration for external command-line converters (other than ReSampler).

Within the context of the converters.json file, a converter configuration represents a description of:

  1. a given command-line converter tool,
  2. the type of input and output files it accepts,
  3. the parameters it is to be invoked with,
  4. and various metadata associated with it.

The JSON structure in converters.json contains an array of such converter configurations.
