<description>QSE is a set of engines for static code analysis, and the like, which are designed from the ground up to be **extremely** quick.
1. The first engine is the *License Inspector* (QSE Lin), basically a faster successor to Apache Rat.
The License Inspector consists of the two Maven modules **qse-lin-core** (the actual scanning engine), and a Maven plugin (**qse-lin-maven**), which allows to run the engine from within Maven. QSE Lin
scans itself (the core project) in less than 500 milliseconds. That's sufficiently fast to have it running
within a Git, or Subversion hook.
2. The second engine is the IntegrationServer Package Scanner (QSE IS), which analyzes packages for the
webMethods Integration server (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebMethods_Integration_Server).
This can be used to detect violations of best practices, as developed in a big scaled customer project,
which has been running over several years, creating a few hundreds of such packages.
The IS package scanner is implemented by the two Maven projects **qse-is** (the actual scanning engine), and an Ant task (**qse-is-ant**), which enables running the engine from within Ant.
