Hi,

me and my friends really enjoy playing the quiz, it's exactly what we were looking for in how it works. We just pass the phone around and if you want to solve you tell everyone what you think the song is, check for yourself, and if you're right you get the point, if not we continue guessing.

I self host this so a lot of my friends just access the app on my server and play, or we meet for Music Quiz Nights. It's a lot of fun.

So naturally, seeing that the app hast some minor issues and this hasn't been updated for a while (fully understanding that this was a learning project for you) I was wondering if there was a possibility that you would continue to work on the app.

Here's what I would love to see:

  • Bump all dependencies (just to see the app survive as long as it can)
  • Resolve the token error
  • Resolve the SDK error
  • Resolve the app sometimes stopping responding to input (skip song)
  • In addition to a text-field for the playlists, offer a dropdown field or a playlist picker, so users can just select from their accounts playlists
  • Offer a timer - we play with 60 seconds until we stop and either guess or skip to the next song, if this were visible and maybe even stops the song by itself that would be lovely
  • Big stretch probably, but real multiplayer: multiple users go into a quiz session with their own phone, so instead of passing the phone around, you can just solve for yourself and nobody else sees the result just yet - plus a scoresheet

Thank you!
