Hi Jan, Thanks, this looks indeed useful! Unfortunately, their mapping files and script are still in a private github repo. We are also considering including the EC to UniProt mappings from RHEA. RHEA has a great API and curated cross-references to metacyc reaction IDs, so this would be ideal. Thanks for the idea! |

Interesting, thank you! I agree, the claims are quite big, and the code is not yet available. It would also be nice to see some validation of the additional annotated reactions. |

just ran across this paper
They have mapped the Uniref90 to BioCyc reaction using EC numbering (I guess this is covered by you as well) and by PFAM domain presence and order (this is probably not covered). This could be a good source to update your reference sequence database.
Its still a preprint, but you might track/check it and use the data it provides.
