Hi @Merc-86, thanks for suggesting this feature. What would be the benefit over opening and trimming the video with Quicktime? This is what I currently do and it's very fast. At the moment, it's hard to justify the effort of implementing this, when Quicktime does the job. Is there anything you miss or cannot do with Quicktime?

Hey @jsattler I don't use Quicktime but Quickrecorder, which has a a single solid workflow of selecting, recording and if activated in settings cropping of the recording followed by storing.

Quicktime is preinstalled on every mac and for simple workflows like trimming, it's sufficient. Opening the recording and pressing Cmd + T takes less than 10sec. Instead of implementing an editor, I'd rather add an "Open" option to the notification, which will directly open the file with the selected video player.
