No magnifier icon and cannot view for numpy arrays #317

Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

A good array data viewer like spyder, which has data in little boxes, better to have a colormap background to see the large and small of data.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. create a numpy array
  2. Click on Open Vairable Inspector
  3. No magnifier icon beside the array

  • Browser: Edge
  • Jupyterlab version: 4.2.5
  • Version of this extension you are using: 3.2.2

I found that on microsoft-edge-stable-bin 128.0.2739.54-1 it cannot display the icon and table, but on firefox 129.0.2-1 they can be displayed

Can you add side-by-side screenshot from Edge/Firefox to highlight what is wrong on Edge?

Left: firefox, Right: edge

also, the magnifier icon on firefox can be clicked and open this:

But edge has no icon nor can be clicked open

On Linux (stock Ubuntu 24.04LTS) here, it works fine on Firefox, but I can't see the magnifying glass on Chrome, like the example with Edge on Windows, above. So, there seems to be something peculiar to Firefox that makes this widget work fine on Firefox?
