I am glad to announce the first significant release of install-jdk in several years. With this release, I have switched to Adoptium as the default OpenJDK Builder vendor with the added support of choosing from additional vendors. This release supports Adoptium, Corretto, and Zulu, with more vendors planned for future versions. There have also been some bug fixes to address issues uncovered by the community.
I look forward to seeing how the community utilizes this release and am thrilled to continue moving this project into the future. Please feel free to open up discussions and report bugs as I aim to make install-jdk seamless for all users, developers, and system administrators looking to simplify their Java development and runtime environments.
