.SH DESCRIPTION
.B Mesg
enables and disables group write permissions on terminals. If the group
write permissions are on, then programs like
.BR write (1)
and
.BR talk (1)
will permit users to write to your screen.

Write permission is alowed by default. With no options given,
.B mesg
displays the current settings.
