Upload Stuck at 0% When Some Photos Have Been Deleted in Filesystem

I deleted some photos at the start and end of 2 sequences which I didn't want to upload manually by accessing the SD card of my Android phone using my computer.

The rest of the photos have been uploaded and in my profile the sequences are now showing up as "uploading".
The Android app, version 4.4.2 (129), still shows the 2 sequences but when I press "upload all" the upload screenjust stays at 0% without any progress while showing a file size > 0.
When I look into the sequence folders on my phone, however, I see that no more photos are left.

Is there any way to close the processing state of the sequences or finish the upload from Android?

By the way, I managed to upload the photos without the deleted ones from Windows using the upload scripts after unzipping the track.txt gzip, which is a workaround.
