Since OpenAI’s API is no longer usable in free tier (reference), could we add support for Google’s Gemini API?

Benefits:

Free tier available (60 RPM)

Competitive pricing

Direct alternative to OpenAI’s chat completions

Suggested Approach:

Add @google/generative-ai dependency

Implement Gemini service mirroring current OpenAI logic

Make AI provider configurable (OpenAI/Gemini)

Hey, yes, it would be nice if you opened a PR. But you must allow the user the possibility to switch from Gemini to OpenAI.

And keep in mind that you need a thinking model for the smart sync part. If you don't, quality may decrease a lot

Since the current pipeline uses OpenAI for tasks like translation, rewriting, and language enhancements, I'm exploring how we can replace OpenAI with Google Gemini and Claude (Anthropic) to better meet our goals and possibly improve quality and control.
