Feedback on keyword filters #16

Hi,
So these types of apps must have keyword filters or we'll drown in nonsense. Are you saying that mastodon only supports server side filters? Would that mean each instance needs its own filter configuration? Well that won't work and in that case creating a local filter option might be better. But mastodon itself should have it as a feature, it's a must and a no-brainer. Without filters, who could possibly stand it? Like reading raw garbage from around the world.
