Request / suggestion for a way to synchronize with your own game data

Hoping not to have overlooked a tutorial on this, I have a question or if this is not possible so far, a suggestion to simplify when searching:

Is it possible to display a map where I only see the things I haven't collected yet?

So for example, by uploading a file from my game folder presumably the save path, which contains the information which objects I have already collected, whereby these can be hidden for me on the map.
