Extension not working on Pop_OS

I've installed the extension from the cinnamon extension manager and it says that it is not compatible with my version of cinnamon (OS: Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS x86_64, Kernel: 6.9.3-76060903-generic DE: Cinnamon 5.2.7). Is there anything I can do to make it work?

There is an API that this extension needs in order to know where the windows are located on the desktop. Without this API I can't determine which window is the best one to switch to when using the hotkeys. That API only exists when running Cinnamon 5.4 or better. You are running Cinnamon 5.2 so the the extension can't operate.

I don't run Pop!_OS so I don't know what versions of Cinnamon you have available, but if you can upgrade to Cinnamon 5.4 or better then the extension should work fine.

It's possible that some alternative API exists in older versions of Cinnamon that would provide the same information, but I didn't see it when I was first writing the extension. I'll take another look when I have some time over the next month.
