Clearer "update available" prompt for desktop

Quick idea on the desktop update flow — sorry if this was already discussed and decided somewhere and I missed it.

Right now we have the version check and the little "UPDATE vX.Y.Z" badge that links to the download page. I was thinking we could nudge that a bit: something like a short "Update is available" message (with a proper Download / Later or similar) so it’s a bit harder to miss, and maybe on desktop have that Download action just kick off the existing download URL so you get the installer in one click (user still runs it themselves). Same backend and release flow, just a clearer prompt and a smoother path to the file.

Thanks again for merging the touch-notebook fix the other day — really appreciate it. If this update-UX idea sounds useful I’m happy to take a crack at a PR. And if there’s already a thread or decision on this, just point me there and we can drop it. Thanks either way.

Sure , you're right, I added the notification because I needed to have users know about it.
But we can go all the way to auto-update, I just am not finding enough time 😃
I just rolled Ollama support and much better support for big screns
Will add on todo.

Summary of changes

• Standalone channel management view (?live-channels=1) and entry from the gear icon in the LIVE panel
• Add, remove, and reorder channels (drag & drop); inline edit on row click (handle, display name)
• Custom confirmation modal for delete; “Restore default channels” button
• i18n for all locales; spacing between the channel list and the add form on the management screen

I’m also ready to implement similar changes for the LIVE WEBCAMS panel (add/remove/reorder cameras). I can follow up with that once this PR is merged; if you have a preferred timeline, just let me know.

Thanks for merging PR #276 and the follow-up 93ea828 (#282). The channel management (gear icon, standalone window, add/remove/reorder) and the review fixes (modal revert, XSS escape, CSP, base_url for dev) are really helpful — we're glad it made it in via the other PR.

We haven't had any follow-up from you on this feature since the merge, so we're not sure what you'd like next. A few questions:

1. Next steps — Is there anything you'd like us to do on the Live News / channel management side (e.g. follow-up fixes, docs, or tests), and any priorities?

2. 93ea828 / setup — Anything we should keep in mind when using the merged code? For example: devUrl vs Vite port for desktop dev, or anything specific to the live-channels window?

3. Contact — For questions or ideas about this feature, do you prefer we use Discussions, Issues, or something else?

1. Next steps: am adding a proper settings to configure everything - because it's getting out of hand. Willl love your feedback by end of day today - it will be live
2. I want to try to have it - agnostic between desktop/web, I am working on something to make it transparent to contributors
3. I would love Issues - as in Bugs or Features

Generally speaking, am overwhelmed with the reception, and would love to have more ideas on what matters to be refactored before building more

Thanks for the reply — that helps a lot!

Understood on the direction. We'll use Issues (Bugs / Features) for questions and ideas from here on. When the new settings UI is live we'll try it and send feedback. We'll hold off on the live webcams management PR and will chip in with refactor ideas via Issues when we have them, rather than pushing new features first.
