Brackets lagging and double click issue

Brackets synapse was working well in previous version of brackets but since i have updated to latest version, i am facing 2 issues:

1. It lags for 5 to 10 minutes,.
2. If double clicked on files, the brackets crash.

Without using synapse (locally), its working fine. There is no lag. Neither brackets crash. I am using brackets on windows.

Currently facing the same issue. The moment I attempt to open a file, crash... Clearing the roaming app data is the only thing that has allowed me to work within synapse, until I open another instance.
