Ctrl+D in terminal doesn't quit the windows of kitty. #8337

I have a script to launch kitty terminal in my MacOS laptops, something like
<path to kitty>/kitty ~ &. But in one of the laptop with kitty 0.29.1, the kitty window would quit when I pressed Ctrl-D. But in the other one which has kitty 0.39, the window wouldn't quit and stay on the dock. Since I bounded the launch of kitty to a hotkey, and mainly uses such way to launch kitty, I ended up having to manually kill after I launch a dozen of instances of it with activity monitor (or ps grep kill I suppose). I'm not sure where in the 10 subversions caused this or if there is any configuration that I missed which causes this?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
