Using Element as a systemwide VST host in Windows (Slate VSX, Voicemeter)

Hello :)

I'm looking to use Element to apply VST plugins to windows audio (systemwide VST host).

Specifically, I want to use Slate VSX (room/speaker emulation) with Spotify/Winamp...

I've been using Equalizer APO which does the job, but is pretty buggy. I've been unable to get other options like PedalBoard etc. to work, and Element was recommended in the VSX thread on Gearspace as a good option, but I can't seem to figure it out and haven't been able to find any tutorials on the proper setup in Element and which Windows audio settings to use.

I have on-board Realtek audio, RME Babyface Pro, and also use Voicemeter Banana. Win10-64.

Virtual audio cable might help on windows. Or on Mac there's Blackhole.
