If you have no merged normals - converter will fail to process SharpGLTF.Validation, and just flattening a surface breaks it again. Seems adding sharp edges doing it too, but not in first place. But merged normals (and resetting it's vectors also seems do nothing) causes all organized surface in the mesh to become oversmoothed and basically meh.
All is for blender 2.8x on win 7...
