There is per default no user created and also the 'root' user has no password set.
I keep that setting and only copy a /root/.ssh/authorized_keys file onto the image to be able
to login over the network as root.
To enable root login, you can edit /etc/shadow to disable the root password for local login.
This all is best done by mounting the image onto a USB device on some existing Linux machine.
I'll reconsider this for the next image I want to release next week, but not yet sure
what the best decision is here.
