<h1>Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering</h1><br>
<p>Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering is a Diploma level Aeronautical Engineering course. A diploma in aeronautical engineering will provide you with the skills and knowledge to create and maintain these machines as well as improve the quality of life for those who depend on and use them. Over the course of the program, you will learn how to design, manufacture, maintain, operate and support all varieties of aerospace vehicles.

Contrary to popular belief, aeronautical engineering is not only limited to technical disciplines of aircraft design and maintenance. It is now also being linked with areas such as aviation law and regulations, supply chain, human resource management, behavioural psychology, and even the environment and journalism.The Aeronautical Engineering industry is ever-growing hence the Aeronautical Engineering courses offer immense opportunities to the job seekers.Aside from aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing and Airbus, options in the automotive, defence, and consulting sectors can also be explored through Aeronautical Engineering courses.</p>

<h3><b>Eligibility criteria</b></h3>
<ul style="list-style-type: disc">
<li>The student must have completed class 10th from a school that comes under a recognised board of education.</li>
<li>The aggregate score of the candidate in class 10th board exams must be at least 50%. Some relaxation in aggregate marks is provided at most of the colleges to the students belonging to reserved categories</li>
<li>The candidate must have received passing marks in all the subjects of class 10th.</li>
<li>The time duration is three years</li>
</ul>
<h3><b>Board</b></h3>
<p>To help speed up the process of development of Technical Education, a Board in the name and style of "STATE BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING" was created vide G.O.Ms.No.371 Edn-dated 26.2.1957. The Joint Director (Technical Education) of DPI used to act as secretary of this newly formed Board. The Board is formed as a statutory body under the A.P. Education Act-1982 (act 1 of 1982), an act of assembly, in the present form, vide G.O.Ms.No.140 dated 24.4.1984.</p>

The candidates can also apply for lateral entry to Diploma(Polytechnic)through which they can get direct admission to second year of Polytechnic. Diploma(Polytechnic)Lateral Entry is for a total duration of 2 years. </p>
<p>The eligibility criteria which the candidates must fulfil for lateral entry to Diploma in Engineering are:</p>
<ul style="list-style-type: disc">
<li>The candidate must have passed a degree in ITI from a recognized institute.</li>
<P class="or">or</P>
<li> The candidate must have acquired a vocational qualification or a certification course in Technical Field after completing 10th/ 12th from a recognised board.</li>
