<h1>Diploma in Chemical Engineering</h1><br>
<p>Diploma in chemical engineering is one of the choices available in the numerous engineering diplomas available in the country and as the name suggests this diploma deals with teaching the basics of Chemical Engineering.This academic course's main goal is application of chemical sciences in various streams of industry where in the conversion from raw materials to newer transformed products take place.It is a comprehensive study of applying mathematics and economic calculations to analyse the possibilities in regulating the sector and developing refined products.Its curriculum covers applied chemistry, thermodynamics, chemical technology, heat transfer and much more giving a broader perspective to the field of students.

Chemical engineering has a very good scope in the future because it is one of the few branches that bridges the gap between physics and chemistry. Diploma level of engineering teaches all the basics of the engineering branch.It teaches applying physics, chemical sciences and biological sciences together.The course contains study of conversion of raw materials into newer products and insights into industries that work on this.Chemical engineering also teaches candidates recycling forms and reformation methods for cleaning chemicals exited out by the industries which is why the branch has a heavy demand in the ever- growing recycling industry.</p>

<h3><b>Eligibility criteria</b></h3>
<ul style="list-style-type: disc">
<li>The student must have completed class 10th from a school that comes under a recognised board of education.</li>
<li>The aggregate score of the candidate in class 10th board exams must be at least 50%. Some relaxation in aggregate marks is provided at most of the colleges to the students belonging to reserved categories</li>
<li>The candidate must have received passing marks in all the subjects of class 10th.</li>
<li>The time duration is three years</li>
</ul>
<h3><b>Board</b></h3>
<p>To help speed up the process of development of Technical Education, a Board in the name and style of "STATE BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING" was created vide G.O.Ms.No.371 Edn-dated 26.2.1957. The Joint Director (Technical Education) of DPI used to act as secretary of this newly formed Board. The Board is formed as a statutory body under the A.P. Education Act-1982 (act 1 of 1982), an act of assembly, in the present form, vide G.O.Ms.No.140 dated 24.4.1984.</p>

The candidates can also apply for lateral entry to Diploma(Polytechnic)through which they can get direct admission to second year of Polytechnic. Diploma(Polytechnic)Lateral Entry is for a total duration of 2 years. </p>
<p>The eligibility criteria which the candidates must fulfil for lateral entry to Diploma in Engineering are:</p>

<li>The candidate must have passed a degree in ITI from a recognized institute.</li>
