v1.4.2
Project Restoration v1.4.2 was released on 30/07/2019. Here are the changes from 1.3.0:
- A sound effect is now played right before the title screen (before Majora's Mask and the Happy Mask Salesman appear) to make troubleshooting easier.
- Added the ability to toggle between fast swim and slow swim by pressing D-Pad Up/Down.
- More dedicated physical buttons for more convenient access to items and menus
- Open the Items menu by pressing START.
- The Bomber's Notebook is now mapped to SELECT.
- Ocarina of Time: ZR+A. This replaces the previous ZR shortcut.
- Pictograph Box: ZL
- I: ZR+X
- II: ZR+Y
- It is now possible to assign items to I and II with a single press.
- More Fluid Bomber's Notebook: Less annoyingly slow popups and transitions
- The Bomber's Notebook screen now updates instantly when it's opened instead of waiting for 1.8 seconds just before starting the "new" text animation (!), followed by another 1.18s pause and another 1.56s delay until the main text box appears (!!).
- Fast Arrow Switching: Press ZL to quickly switch between arrow types (Normal/Fire/Ice/Light).
- The new Sheikah hint stone will no longer distract the player during an important cutscene in the Clock Tower.
- Link no longer plays the Elegy of Emptiness a second time after it's been played once during a play session. This makes Stone Tower a lot less tedious, considering it needs to be played 10+ times to beat Stone Tower Temple normally.
- [1.4.1+] For similar reasons, the Song of Soaring is only repeated once during a play session.
- Various fixes and stability improvements.
- Zora Link now surfaces when the A action button reads "Surface" (as expected).
- Fixed a possible button mapping conflict.
- Added the (missing) ability to skip the transformation cutscene by pressing a D-Pad action button, just like how A/B/X/Y can be used to skip it.
Changes from 1.4.1:
- Fixed a possible softlock when playing the Song of Soaring.

v1.3.0
Project Restoration v1.3.0 was released on 14/07/2019. Here are the changes:
- More Effective Inverted Song of Time: Slow time to 1/3 speed (as in the original)
- Makes some glitchless challenge runs possible again.
- Gives the player more time in a three-day cycle.
- The previous patch was improved, so issues affecting scheduled NPCs (e.g. the Postman) should be fixed now.
- The Bombers will no longer distract the player from a particular cutscene.
- Captain Keeta now walks as fast as in the original game, which restores the challenge of the chasing mini-game.
- Various fixes and stability improvements.

v1.2.0 - Fixed console support + moving platforms that actually move
Project Restoration v1.2.0 was released on 09/07/2019. Here are the changes:
-
Moving Platforms That Actually Move: In the remaster, the moving platforms in Deku Palace and Woodfall Temple don't... move until the player lands on them. That is now fixed.
-
Patches should now work for all game versions on console. However, a special version of Luma (which supports BPS patching) is now required.
- The setup instructions have been updated. Please read them again!
- For people who have been using a workaround (patching the executable manually), please delete code.bin before updating Project Restoration.
- Delete code.ips before updating.
-
For Citra, only 1.0.0 is supported because Citra currently doesn't support BPS patching and it's easy to get 1.0.0 anyway. (Downgrading the game does not affect your save data.)
Now with fixed Ice Arrows
New changes:
-
Restored Ice Arrows: Ice arrows that work everywhere
- Ice arrows now work in all locations, not just in Gyorg's room. This gives the player the freedom to experiment with ice arrows.
- Removed the sparkling water effects as they were an insult to the player's intelligence.
-
The Inverted Song of Time patch is currently still disabled as I haven't managed to fix the NPC issues yet.
Enjoy!
v1.0.1: Temporarily disable ISoT patch
Investigating issues with NPC scheduling.
Hot fix
This disables the ISoT patch as I'm currently investigating issues with the NPC schedule system.
Initial release
Important: I have only tested the patch on Citra and on the 1.0.0 game version. Please report any issues :)
