Runa Ahead pause crash

I'm having a great experience with NeoCD, mainly because it has Run Ahead support, it improves the overall experience a lot.

My only problem with Run Ahead is that when I use the pause button on the Neo Geo CD it pauses the game but freezes Retroarch, if I turn off Run Ahead I don't have this problem.

Indeed. No idea why that is.
The emulator doesn't do any special handling of pause in games or the select button.
It shouldn't make any difference.
