Save states saved with older version of NeoCD do not work with current version

I have save states that work with my previous version of the core (neocd_libretro.so.20220319T090743), but do not work with the current version I got when I updated today. Retroarch reports that the save state was loaded after trying to load one, but the emulator continues running as normal without changing state.

Loading and saving state works fine in the lastest version.
I don't have OLDER savestates to test :(
Emulator code hasn't been changed recently so there is no reason for this to happen.
I'm going to try to update the code in libretro_common in case something in RetroArch changed that need updates.
