They have two images with very similar names:

CentOS-Stream-GenericCloud-10-<date-id>.x86_64.qcow2 (BIOS)
CentOS-Stream-GenericCloud-x86_64-10-<date-id>.x86_64.qcow2 (UEFI)

In addition to the template yamls, https://github.com/lima-vm/lima/blob/master/hack/update-template-centos-stream.sh have to be updated too

This would explain why the legacyBIOS was still needed for CentOS, when it wasn't for AlmaLinux.

Then again, the 10.0-beta release (of Alma) seems to not include any cloud images at all, so there.
