We are putting together a series of workshops designed to bring together a group of preservation professionals and experienced volunteers with an interest in community engagement. During the workshops, we plan to introduce the group of participants to the concept of Open Educational Resources (OERs) and how they can use Local Preservation School to support their own work and advocacy. We will then solicit feedback on how we should prioritize and organize lesson/tutorials for the Local Preservation School. Our goals include using a collaborative approach to develop lessons/tutorials for the Local Preservation School and to raise awareness about the Local Preservation School project. This milestone will be complete when we have prepared all of the relevant materials and resources needed to support these workshops.
