Goal : - To develop a web based ePub reading component with interface support for screen reader and to utilize tools for customizing user experience (through UI Options or other means). The aim is to include the web based ePub reading component in the future Infusion releases.

After exploring other eBook readers and interface framework I came up with the following key points.

Intended Features

Reading:-

• User will be able to read books in ePub format.
  

• Highlighting of text and marking images in book
  

• User will be able to comment on a particular element in the book
  

• User will be able to add Bookmarks for direct reference
  

• A user based recent books opened can be saved
  

• User will be able to navigate to any page and chapter directly
  

• Search text in eBook
  

• Print a selection from current page
  

• Zoom and Pan features
  

Editing:-

• A editing package will be provided using WYSIWYG editor
