update new attributes added to dms content type

I have over 300 files uploaded using dms, I found myself in the situation where a new attribute was added to the Attribute Set. How can I update it massively in both idempiere and solr

Hello @jojeda-four-id,

You have two options for updating the new attribute across your files:

1. Manual Update:

   • You can manually update each content item with the new attribute value. When you save the changes, the updated data will automatically be applied to Solr as well.

2. Bulk Update via Backend:

   • If you prefer a bulk update through the backend.
   • By applying SQL for new attribute value insert against each applicable content and its contentType wise
   • Use an SQL query to mark all those content versions as IsIndexed = false.
   • Afterward, run the Reset Indexing Process from the menu to trigger re-indexing of the affected content in Solr.
