Updated to macOS 14.1.1 and RedPill not working

I just updated to macOS 14.1.1, and Redpill is not working. I granted access to RedPill via the Privacy & Security to run, but I only got a blank screen. I am running Redpill 2.1.1-64bit image. I am running on an Apple Mac Studio M1 Max machine.

version 2.1 works for me, more or less on M3 Max, 14.3.1,
but with a problem, after a while (sometimes days) it confusing GPX acceleration of other windows (browser text rendering),
terminal text rendering, and so on...

killing processes of legacyScreenSaver-x86_64 fixes situation ...
before, a while ago (~2 years ago) worked fine on M1

I suspect this is to do with undocumented screensaver API changes Apple made in Sonoma, and the screensaver never being told to exit, and eventually leaking GPU resources as a result.
