getWindowSize returns 0 0 #19

Hi there,
Just wanted to report that using getWindowSize always returns Size 0 0 in all of the terminals I've tried. Also after a while it seems to crash (displays a lot of garbage on screen) UPDATE: The crash was due to #15
I've switched to terminal-size which worked right away, and although I had a quick look at their approach unfortunately I couldn't identify any obvious differences which would cause this error.
