Pull request #333 showed that previously we had wrong 'cr/lf' line endings.
Need to

validate whole repository
check whether we can add something more to ensure validity (.gitattributes?)

Wrong commits most probably were originated from Eclipse.
added git.autocrlf=true to the user config...
