Hi @mattboston. First of all, thanks for the feedback. Being simple to use was one of my main goals, and your experience tells me that I may be in the right direction. For the Config Generator Mode, that is possible. Ignition already generates the configuration files and and place them in the Managing a remote server through SSH (or any other strategies, like an agent) is a bit more complex because of how I interact with the nginx binary. Also, would be nice being able to manage multiple remote servers, each one with its own set of hosts/streams/etc. I need to look a bit more into it to understand better how and if this could work. But, back to the Config Generator Mode, I will create an Issue for it and try to work into it soon. Again, thanks for the feedback and suggestions. |

The only other tweak that might be needed is if i'm generating configs for a remote server to be downloaded, i noticed that it wouldn't let me select a directory that didn't exist. |

@mattboston, the ability to export the generated nginx configuration files is now available at the latest version (2.13.1) alongside other improvements (bugfixes, database backup and more). Config files can be download using the new menu item called "Export and backup". Please note that the access permission is not granted automatically to the users, so you'll need to update your user first and then refresh the page. |

First, let me say, your project is amazing. I usually have to dig through existing configs or docs to figure out what I want to do.
Second, it would be nice to have a Config Generator Mode. I manage a lot of local and servers and don't really want to have a service like this exposed. But it would be good to have the ability to do the following:
