Decouple metadata from the source information

I think the metadata – the content of the "image" section of the source file, shouldn't be coupled with the source image metadata, like it is when using `debootstrap` for example. Completely renaming a customized distro and its release scheme should be easily possible. It would be very useful for cleaner image management.
